What’s Vaping? Why Teenagers Are Smoking it Just Like Regular Cigarettes
Precisely what is it, you ask? An electric cigarette is simply an electronic device which simulates using tobacco. It usually includes a heating element just like a quartz or silicon battery, an atomizer so you can get the nicotine in to the system, and a protective tank or cartridge just like a coin-shape bottle or tank. Instead of smoke, the consumer inhales only vapor.
Inhaling vapors is a lot better than smoking, I really believe that to myself, however, not everyone does! So, how do an electronic cigarette be used to still get the “hit” or nicotine buzz? Well, it is quite simple. The vapor from your e-pipe is really water or oil that is blended with Propylene glycol (propylene is also a popular agent in antifreeze) which allows it to mimic the feel and taste of actual tobacco smoke. Hence, lots of people who’ve tried it report an almost identical experience to smoking without the nasty side effects.
However, there exists a downside to this. Suppose you are a heavy marijuana or heroin addict. Now, if you were able to somehow merge both of these “drugs” into one, you would have an extremely addictive drug. But, because you can’t, what do you do? Throw them both away, of course not!
So, you can find very real concerns about what is certainly going in vapor form. One of the major concerns is that the vapor is inhaled directly into the lungs, causing what is called “Secondhand smoking”. Since electronic cigarettes don’t release any harmful chemicals into the air, there is no such thing as “Vaping Cancer”. However, this concern is probable overblown, especially since the vast majority of users aren’t puffing anything straight into their lungs, but rather are employing them in conjunction with something like a cigarette.
Does this imply that what’s vapourizing is harmful? Well, there is no doubt that it is inhaling dangerous particles. But, that doesn’t mean that the electric cigarettes themselves are dangerous, or that with them in conjunction with smoking isn’t a good idea. The main problem with vaporizing in the context of these two things is that it has turned into a more popular means of obtaining a high. More people are using electronic cigarettes to get a high, and they don’t appear to mind spending money on it. This means that vaporizing becomes less useful in an effort to quit smoking, and more people are actually realizing that it’s much more dangerous than smoking in its purest form.
So, when could it be OK to use what’s essentially nicotine replacement therapy (NICTA) to greatly help treat your nicotine addiction? The solution to that question really depends on where you stand on the problem. For some people, it is perfectly fine to use e-cigs alongside traditional cigarettes. For others, this type of use can be dangerous and may even result in nicotine addiction, rendering it absolutely unwise to utilize them alongside other methods.
If you are someone who thinks what’s majoring is just a phase, then you should consider that using what’s basically a marijuana-flavored liquid can be just as harmful. Although it might not provide you with the same high that you’ll get from smoking marijuana, you certainly won’t enjoy the same type of high that you would if you were smoking a lungful of marijuana. What’s not at all acceptable, however, is using what’s usually referred to as pot brownies or vapes as a means of Electric Tobacconist smoking cigarettes.
In many ways, what is literally vaporizing may be the beginning of the end of young people smoking. As electronic cigarettes gain more popularity, teens and young people will begin to turn away from the tobacco industry in droves. This trend will only increase as e-cigs are more affordable. Even those who already hate the tobacco companies will gravitate toward vapes as a way to stop smoking. What is essentially, is the oldest form of advertising – the liquid you inhale is definitely considered the forbidden fruit of tobacco companies everywhere.
